WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Comfortable clothes and shoes.


WHAT TO BRING:

  • Food and drinks to share.

  • Picnic tables, mats, chairs, umbrellas.

  • Tent or canopy.

  • Outdoor game or sports equipment.

PARK RULES:

Santee Lakes 

  • A $7 day-use fee will be charged per vehicle upon entry. You may leave the premises and re-enter without any additional fees. 

  • Water Sprayground Day-use fee is $5 per child and is available from 7:00AM - 5:00PM for kids 13 years old and under.

  • Not allowed:

    • Pets.

    • Release of balloons or animals.

    • Kegs or alcoholic beverages.

    • Visitors who are intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • Smoking and vaping.

    • Archery equipment, darts and other projectiles.

    • Use or discharge of any firearms, weapons, or fireworks.

    • Soliciting, selling, or peddling any goods or services, or distribute any circulars.

  • Ambient noise should not exceed 50 decibels at a distance of 50 feet from the source.

  • Amplifying sound equipment can only be used in reserved areas with prior approval of the District.



Vina Vieja Park

  • Not allowed:

    • Alcoholic beverages.

    • Sports.

    • Petting zoos, pony rides, live animals.

    • Moon bouncers.

    • Water Activities.

    • Electric or motorized vehicles.

    • String or tape ties.

    • Nailing or stapling on trees, signs, buildings or other City Property.

    • Sale or raffle of merchandise, acceptance of donations, or charging for admission.

  • Observe and help enforce the common rules concerning social behavior, for example:

    • No obscene speech.

    • Respect for the personal and property rights of others.

    • Avoid unnecessary noise which might disturb other groups using the facility or citizens residing near the facility and related areas.

  • Use approved parking areas only and do not block any driveway or entrance.
